My research focuses on how environmental hazard information - particularly around air quality - reaches the public, and what that means for health inequality and environmental risk governance. I work bridges social data science and environmental philosophy to develop methods for evaluating "free", digitally available, real-time environmental hazard data and associated risk-reduction guidance. I also practice reflexive participatory research methods in an effort to democratise the production of knowledge informing environmental governance.
